Crazy
Dog Writes The Book On Cooking for Pets!
When interviewed in his test
kitchen, Crazy Dog had this to say about his book: “Pets are tired of
eating plain old pet food. We long for home cooking. My recipes are so
easy, even a child can make them.” Many
of the recipes contain ingredients like oatmeal and peanut butter that
children and pets can share. The book is also packed with cartoons, jokes,
animal care tips and fun things kids can do with their pets. In
keeping with Crazy Pet’s edutainment mission, The Crazy Kids Guide
to Cooking For Your Pet is based on The Back Bones of Character.
By showing kids how they can have fun while caring for their pets
responsibly, the book instills values like Sharing and Dependability. Thanks
to this winning “recipe” of entertainment, character-building and
originality, The Crazy Kids Guide To Cooking For Your
Pet has won praise from nationally known pet professionals and
media personalities. Dr. Marty Becker, DVM, author
of the best-selling Chicken Soup For The Pet Lovers Soul and
veterinarian-commentator on ABC's Good Morning America,
has this to say about the book:
"Like a hungry
pet, I sat down and engulfed the contents of THE CRAZY KIDS GUIDE TO
COOKING FOR YOUR PET in a single setting. It was that easy to
digest, that yummy to read, and so much fun going down. I laughed
and learned--page by page--and was so delighted at the edutainment format, I
was happier than a dog with two tails!" The
cookbook’s publication gives all Crazy Pet licensees something to wag
their tails about, said Howard Finelt, COO for Crazy Pet LLC.
“The book and the national media publicity it generates will
create great exposure for the Crazy Pet property.
This will give the brand a higher profile, which will benefit all
of our licensees and their products.” Translated to “human language”
by mother-daughter team Barbara and Missy Denzer, and colorfully
illustrated by Manny Rodriguez, The Crazy Kids Guide To Cooking For Your
Pet is available for $14.95 retail through groomers, pet stores, gift
shops or from The Crazy Pet Press. For more information, visit the book
