Crazy Pet LLC has entered into an exclusive agreement with Dimensional Branding Group (DBG), a licensing company based in San Francisco.  Under the terms of the agreement, DBG will act as the sole licensing agent for the Crazy Pet property in the United States.

“DBG is one of the most respected licensing agencies in the nation. We are very pleased and honored that they will be representing us,” said Howard Finelt, COO of Crazy Pet LLC.

“(DBG principals) Larry Seidman and Marsha Armitage bring a lot of experience and industry contacts to the table,” added Barbara Denzer, vice president of Crazy Pet LLC. “Their expertise will take Crazy Pet to the next level.”

As one of its first actions on Crazy Pet’s behalf, DBG unveiled the cartoon animal property at Toy Fair 2005. According to Seidman and Armitage, Crazy Pet received an impressive reception, thanks to its colorful characters, award-winning children’s DVD and book, and unique “edutainment” concept of using pets to teach kids an underlying message of positive values.

“Crazy Pet stands out from the pack, because it’s different than any other children’s property,” said Armitage. “It’s the only one that uses the natural bond between kids and pets to teach character-building values like sharing and responsibility.”

Because of this, Crazy Pet has “all the ingredients to become a really hot brand in the children’s industry,” said Seidman. “We look forward to a long and productive relationship with the company.”
