Crazy Pet Licenses La Brea International

To Make Zany Accent Items

The Crazy Pet Company has entered into a licensing agreement with La Brea International, a Canadian maker of accent items. Under the agreement, La Brea International will manufacture lamps, clocks, and picture frames featuring the colorful graphics of Crazy Dog and Crazy Cat characters.

“La Brea International has been producing amusing time pieces, frames, lamps, and other functional items for over 10 years,” said Barbara Denzer, Vice President of Marketing for Crazy Pet Company. “We are honored that our animated Crazy Pets can be a visual part of La Brea International’s whimsical items.”

In March 2003, La Brea International will introduce its first line of Crazy Pet licensed products in the United States and Canada. The graphics are going to appear on colorful full-size clocks and zany “mini”clocks with wake up alarm systems. Also, luminous three-dimensional lamps and vibrant two-dimensional picture frames will be available with Crazy Pet illustrations.

“Our designs are created to be zesty and spunky—to provoke smiles,” said Marc Le Toureau, Owner of La Brea International. “We feel that the humorous Crazy Pet characters are a refreshing element that our company can benefit from. The lovable animated pets can easily add to the visual excitement of our existing products and enhance them.”

“We are proud to add La Brea International to our growing list of Crazy Pet licensees. Crazy Pet is an extremely appealing property that can enhance the success of a wide range of consumer products,” said Denzer.
