Music, Media and a Message:

Crazy Pet’s Characters-Building-Character Theme

Plays To Packed (Dog)House At Licensing 2004 International Show

Crazy Pet’s mission of using pets to teach values to children is a theme that’s music to the ears of many. And at the Licensing 2004 International Show you could hear music – literally – wafting out of Crazy Pet’s giant doghouse booth.

Visitors were treated to captivating vocal performances by 12-year-old Karina Pasian, a protégé of the legendary Quincy Jones, who drew crowds each day to the Crazy Pet booth when she sang popular standards in her unique soulful style. A rising superstar, Karina recently appeared at the “We Are The Future” concert in Rome, which was featured on MTV2 and raised funds for child victims of war.  “Karina is more than an outstanding young talent. Her association with ‘We Are The Future’ exemplifies the Back Bones of Character™ values that Crazy Pet stands for,” said Howard Finelt, COO of Crazy Pet LLC.

Other major events at the show, which was held June 8-10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, included a big-plasma-screen preview of Crazy Pet’s animated TV series, created by Double Take Productions (La Jolla, CA). Additionally, licensee SEE Family Entertainment/Hollywood Theme Tours (Hollywood, CA) was on hand to give a sampling of its Crazy Pet stage shows. On the publishing front, author Barbara Denzer and illustrator Manny Rodriguez autographed copies of The Crazy Kids Guide To Cooking For Your Pet  and previewed their upcoming book, The Crazy Kids Guide to Petiquette.

Like the Crazy Pet property itself, the show was pure edu-tainment!  For information about Crazy Pet’s licensing program, call Howard Finelt at 1-800-GEE-PETS (433-7387) or click here to contact us
